Maria Del Amo

President

Maria is a sales and marketing executive with over 15 years of experience in strategic corporate marketing and new product development.  With a diverse background, Maria focuses in developing B2B growth strategies that build relationships and impact the bottom line.  Maria has launched new revenue initiatives from the idea creation of a new product, development and launch it to the marketplace. Nicknamed, gadget fanatic, you will find her at stores or online trying new products, solutions or apps- a true early adopter.

Maria has a MBA from Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University in Innovation and Marketing Management. During the pursuit of her MBA, one of the most exciting projects Maria was involved with was idea generation and understanding the patent process of an idea or concept. She actually led a team of young pioneers in patenting a project that was well ahead of its time.

As a marketing executive, Maria’s primary concern is to always listen to the customer, assess their needs, and to think strategically through a problem or an opportunity.  Architecting a pragmatic plan that is logical and easy to understand, from the top to the bottom, is key behind Maria’s success.

    Kenneth Cossin

    Vice President

    Kenneth Cossin has been a professor of Internet Marketing at Full Sail University for six years. He serves on the board of the American Marketing Association, Central Florida as the VP of Communication. He has his BS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Central Florida and his MA in Corporate Communication and Technology from Rollins.

    He is a seasoned marketing professional with over 20 years experience in corporate training, data administration, communications, PR, writing, publishing, and reporting for the St Johns River Water Management District, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Orange County, and Full Sail University.

    Cossin is a regular content contributor to Marketing Profs U, the Full Sail University blog, How to Make My Blog, Marketing Zeus, and Social Media Marketing Magazine. He contributes to the Central Florida Community on many levels working with noted organizations such as the Enzian Theatre and the Orlando Philharmonic.

    Cossin has called Orlando home for over 22 years and is originally from Long Island, NY. He is an avid photographer and linguist with talents in speaking both English and Spanish.

      Randal Bridges

      Programming Chair

      Randal began his communications career as on-air host at WUCF-FM while attending the University of Central Florida. After graduation, Randal spent a number of years as a Producer for Golf Channel producing revenue-generating sales and marketing videos in the Creative Services Department. His next opportunity was at SeaWorld as Sr. Producer where he created video content for the marketing, sales, communications, and brand teams. He then accepted a role at XOS Digital as Director of Programming/Production and was responsible for the strategy and production of broadcast and digital video content for top sports brands such as the Southeastern Conference, BIG EAST, and Big 12.

      Randal is a 5-time Telly Awards winner and serves on the Telly Awards Silver Council.

      Today, Randal is Executive Producer and owner of Torch Studios, a creative production company specializing in storytelling and branded content.

        Katrina Deleon

        Programming Chair

        Katrina is the Director of Marketing at ProductionHUB, the pro video marketplace and industry’s most trusted job service. Serving broadcast TV, motion picture, live event, corporate & digital media production, ProHUB connects professionals with those seeking industry products & services.

        Katrina is responsible for marketing strategies and tactics, media relations, advertising, brand management, social media efforts and assists in business development initiatives. She consistently fosters partnerships, creates programs and manages projects that have helped grow ProductionHUB more than 440% since she started, resulting in recent honors such as being named one of the top 10 B2B Rising Stars for B2B Marketing Magazine and placing ProductionHUB in the top 15% of the Inc. 500 list.

        A sought-after speaker and contributing writer for outlets like AMEX | OPEN Small Business Forum and B2C Business to Community, Katrina welcomes press opportunities and questions on Tips for Hiring Video Production Vendors or Freelancers. She is also a Founding Member of Femfessionals, on the Employee Relations Council of the CFHLA, and previously served on the Board for the AAF/Ad2 Orlando Board and Women in Film & Television – FL.

          Ashley Bravo

          Membership Chair

          Ashley Bravo earned her Associate of Arts Degree with a focus in Business at Valencia College and Bachelor Degree in Marketing at the University of Central Florida. During her years as a student at Valencia College Ashley worked with the Student Leadership program with the Peer Educator Department. As part of the Peer Educators team, Ashley was able to gain experience in the marketing field.  She introduced the West Campus student body to different events about the importance of health and wellness.

          Once she graduated from Valencia, Ashley undertook an internship with the Hispanic Business Initiative Fund (HBIF) where she strengthened the community of Hispanic small business owners in Orlando through social media outlets where she doubled followers on Twitter and Facebook and created HBIF’s biweekly newsletter. Ashley now works for Allgen Financial Services, Inc. as a Marketing Specialist. She has helped initiate the revamp of the company’s website, increased social media community engagement, and coordinated various company events.

          Ashley has served as ALPFA at UCF Vice President, ALPFA Orlando Professional Board Leadership Summit Event Committee, and on Valencia College Alumni marketing committee. She enjoys running and is currently training for her first half marathon.

            Marci Miranda

            Membership Chair

            Marci Miranda joins the American Marketing Association board with over 10 years of experience in the advertising/marketing arena. Her unique and wide-ranging skill set has enabled her to successfully contribute in a variety of roles including design, brand management, client services and project management.

            Marci recently moved from Scottsdale, Arizona where she was an interactive project manager at Nomadic Agency, Ad Age’s 2014 Small Agency of the Year, Southwest. There she managed brand-focused digital promotions from requirements gathering to delivery for clients that included Pepsi, Disney, MillerCoors and Samsung.

            Prior to Nomadic Marci held a National Marketing Manager position with Cold Stone Creamery where she developed multi-channel marketing campaigns and managed the ice cream brand’s partnership with Make-A-Wish. Creating consistent (and fun) customer experiences across all channels, Marci increased overall brand awareness, site traffic, online impressions and conversions, and her successful campaigns earned mention at Social Media Examiner, Adweek and Forbes.

            Marci holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University and loves great design and the fusion of marketing and technology. In her spare time Marci enjoys blogging about her husband and two precocious children.

                Amber Bloom

                Communications Chair

                Amber is the Social Media & Public Relations Representative at Produce for Kids, a cause-marketing company that runs campaigns in-store and online to help families eat healthier and raise funds to support children’s charities nationwide. Since 2002, Produce for Kids has raised more than million to support kids.

                During her 4+ years at Produce for Kids, Amber has had her hand in every aspect of marketing, including sponsor sales and relations, website marketing and event planning. Amber is now responsible for consumer communications including social media, public relations and newsletter marketing. She serves as the voice behind Produce for Kids’ social channels, editor-in-chief of the Produce for Kids blog and e-newsletters, and author of annual e-cookbooks, all while curating content to help families eat healthier year-round. In addition, she works with more than 35 produce companies on social media and PR opportunities in tandem with Produce for Kids campaigns.

                Amber earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Central Florida. In her free time, she enjoys testing out new recipes and cheering on her favorite sports teams.

                    Lindsey Kovaleski

                    Sponsorship Chair

                    Lindsey has a decade of experience in the fundraising and marketing realms, with an emphasis on engaging consumers. In her current role at Full Sail University, she is a course director in the Sports Marketing and Media Bachelor’s Degree program. Lindsey earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida, and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Texas at Austin.

                    Prior to joining Full Sail, Lindsey was integral in building a marathon fundraising program and managing hundreds of grassroots fundraisers for the LIVESTRONG Foundation. She also served as the marketing specialist for Event 360, leading their first major website redesign and focusing on bolstering their online marketing presence in a B2B marketplace.

                    Born and raised in Orlando, Lindsey is happy to call Central Florida home again after living in Austin and Australia for several years. She enjoys giving back to the community by consulting on projects with the Translational Research Institute for Metabolism and Diabetes and the American Diabetes Association. Lindsey lives in Winter Park with her husband and her 13-year-old spaniel, Bailey.

                        Stephanie Sheppard

                        Collegiate Relations Chair

                        A native of New England, Stephanie Sheppard earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida where she majored in marketing and minored in hospitality. As a student, she served on the executive committee for Quotes, the PR Club at UCF as the Director for Communication and held marketing and sales internships at ProductionHUB, and UCF Dining Knights. In her junior and senior years at UCF, she interned and worked part-time at the UCF Alumni Association. Upon graduation she was offered a full time position with the Association as the Social Media and eMarketing Coordinator.

                        In her position with the UCF Alumni Association, she is responsible for online brand management, social media strategy and execution and overseeing more than 40 social media accounts. In addition, she manages email marketing to more than 235,000 alumni. Her passion for the power of social media is evident as the fans and followers of the alumni association’s social media accounts has nearly tripled under her supervision.

                        In her free time, Stephanie enjoys being active and recently completed her first marathon. She enjoys reading about nutrition and watching her Boston sports teams on TV. Currently, Stephanie is pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Central Florida.

                            Alexis Roberts

                            Collegiate Relations Chair

                            Alexis Roberts currently works for The Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA), a professional association with more than 180,000 members from around the world, as the Social Content Specialist. The IIA is the internal audit profession’s global voice, recognized authority, acknowledged leader, chief advocate, and principal educator.
                            Alexis has experience in managing various social media accounts, compiling analytics and developing strategies. In addition, she is knowledgeable in HTML email development, SEO, digital advertising, video production, voice over, and copywriting.

                            Alexis earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in public and professional writing from the University of Central Florida. She is currently attending Purdue University for a Master of Science in Communication.

                              Angela Crist

                              Web and Technology Chair

                              Angela is a very proud Ohioan that is happy to be in Florida.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Management and a focus in Marketing from Wittenberg University.  Combining technology and marketing is Angela’s true passion.

                              Angela’s background consists of web project management; she has the ability to talk both code and marketing.  Moving up from web project manager to web development manager, Angela has always had a heart for web developers.  With a passion to help web developers succeed, Angela became a Career Advisor for Web Development and Internet Marketing students at Full Sail University.  Jumping back into creating web communities, Angela became the first Career Development, Community Manager interfacing with students online to create community and raise awareness of the benefits of the Career Development department.

                              Today, Angela is combining technology and marketing to the fullest!  She is the Digital Strategist for Lift UX a user experience company who are most well known for their second screen projects such as the ‘Walking Dead Story Sync’.  Angela works mostly on the product side of Lift with their WordPress theme shop, UpThemes.  Here Angela builds awareness and markets new and current products to the multiple niche audiences strategizing for maximum return on investment.
